Integrating the trial version of Smart Scanner API into your app or website requires only two steps:
- Obtain your API key, so Smart Scanner can authenticate your requests.
- Make a test API request, to confirm everything is up and running.
Step 1: Obtain your API keys
Smart Scanner authenticates your API requests using an API key. If you do not include your API key when making a request, or if you use an incorrect or outdated API key, Smart Scanner returns an error.

To check that your integration is working correctly, make a test API request using your API key to scan a document.
